Emeraude & I transplanted some of our seedlings today. Though they all need to be done, to keep it enjoyable we only do as much as each of us is up to. We transplanted 3 squares (with 9 compartments each with a seed or two planted originally for the most part) of radishes and a [Read more]

This is a really easy one. Be careful of course with the kettle… You can add almost any fruit to Jell-O but pineapple and, hmmm… I forget the other but they are listed on the box. We were making strawberry jelly and opted to add sliced bananas in ½ the batch and fruit cups (x2) [Read more]

Though I have to be aware of how much physical activity I do, I have come to realize that in regards to living with multiple sclerosis it does not seem to generally make a difference as to fatigue or pain levels afterwards. Emeraude & Daddy made boats out of craft supplies and recycled materials. The boat with pontoons and a sail was their group effort (very nice) and the other small one Emeraude imagined and built all on her own. We had a lot of fun playing at the lion’s beach after we were done with our [Read more]

On a different note, I was advised today that my readership included a group I was not previously aware of. Apparently there are some among the staff @ MGH (our local hospital) who are fond (or perhaps that's not quite the right word lol) let's say who have noticed my blog. Apparently some are [Read more]

When I finally got called in Mrs. Ormston had completely won Emeraude over ...and she (E) had no interest in accompanying me lol. Mrs. Ormston said she didn't mind her staying with her to play and I knew this was sincere and that she was in great hands so let Emeraude stay with her having fun... [Read more]

We finally planted our final tray of seeds this afternoon. Emeraude just loves playing in the dirt and is so curious about the entire process. We discussed differences in the sizes/types/colours of our seeds and tried to use what we learned from the last tray (sticking to one seed / square; not [Read more]

...recipe for the colouring solution. I melted parafin wax which Emeraude used a shishkabob stick to draw with on some eggs, we dipped a couple into it (just the ends) and also just drizzled the wax randomly on others. Lots of fun, they look great, just need to pick up some inexpensive baskets from [Read more]
