Manitouwadge High School Concert by Junior & Senior Bands (incl.video)
MANITOUWADGE, ON – June 15, 2022, Manitouwadge High School’s Junior and Senior bands, conducted and accompanied by their teacher Mr. Lalonde, perform for those in attendance in person and online (the latter thanks to the concert originally being broadcast live on the school’s Facebook page).
Family, friends and school staff attended to enjoy a variety of musical numbers. The concert opened with the junior band of students from the Gr. 10 music class followed by the larger group of musicians, from the senior class. Both the juniors and seniors are conducted and accompanied by their music teacher Mr. Lalonde. Among the songs played by the seniors were a variety of more contemporary pieces you’re certain to recognize during the video (below) including the theme from Jurassic Park, Lean On Me and Just Dance (by Lady Gaga).
Principal Jody Kuczynski closed the evening with a thank you to the two bands and Mr. Lalonde for their wonderful live performances, as well as a thank you to attendees for coming to enjoy the live show and support the students. Principal Kuczynski was clearly very proud of the student-musicians noting the impressive progress they had made through the course of the semester.
