Student Structures Stand Tall at Holy Saviour
MARATHON, ON – Grade 3/4 students at Holy Saviour Catholic School are learning about strong and stable structures by building towers out of paper.
The students’ impressive structures stood over 1 meter tall. This gave the eager learners the opportunity to practice their learning about tension, compression, center of gravity, and the strength of triangular shapes in structures.
Well done everyone! Exciting to think these students may build in Marathon in years to come.
