Mild But Windy at Kiwissa Today
MANITOUWADGE, ON – It’s a great weekend to ski in Manitouwadge, mild weather today is forecast (from ec.gc.ca) to continue through Sunday with a chance of flurries tonight (Feb.26). At the hill today conditions are a bit windy but mild at just -9 as of publishing.
All runs have been groomed today with the Angel, Devil and Girls’ Runs having only their lower portions groomed.
The grip-tow (beginner hill next to old chalet) continues to be out-of-order though the parts are on order and expected to arrive for repairs in the next week or two.
Please remember we continue to be challenged by COVID cases in Manitouwadge, the trailer is only intended for purchasing of tickets (or a chocolate bar as some snacks are now available), skiers/snowboarders are asked to change, warm up and/or eat in their vehicles and masks MUST be worn in the trailer (please keep a proper mask on hand to be worn in the trailer, your neck warmer, scarf or dickie are not adequate to protect against COVID transmission).
