FINAL DAY for Manitouwadge Residents to Apply for COVID-19 Community Relief Funding
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Since August 1, 2020 Manitouwadge residents have been seizing the opportunity to apply for the municipality’s COVID-19 Community Relief Funding of 100 Extreme Dollars per person. August 30, the town’s website indicated that to date, 261 people had clicked-through to apply online (call 826-3227 or visit the Township office for more information or details of how to apply ‘in person’). August 31, 2020 is the final day for Manitouwadge residents to apply for COVID Relief Funding.
On June 10, 2020, Mayor and Council for the Township of Manitouwadge passed a motion to provide financial assistance to every resident of Manitouwadge to assist them with increased costs of managing their finances during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Each resident of Manitouwadge is entitled to receive a one-time payment of $100.00 to be issued in $20.00 denominations of “Manitouwadge Extreme Dollars”. Extreme dollars can be used at any participating business in the Township, including the Township of Manitouwadge office. Eligible residents must have been living in Manitouwadge as of June 10, 2020, the date the motion was passed by Council.
Please complete the online application form to register to receive your funding. Applications will not be accepted after August 31, 2020 at 11:59 pm.
You will receive notification by email or phone advising the date, time and location to pick up your Extreme Dollars.
