New Movies This Week in Marathon and Manitouwadge PLUS February’s 2020 Top 10 Most Rented
The world of movies has changed over the years. Fewer and fewer movies are original concept ideas, with some of the biggest earning movies at box office being sequels and remakes. Some franchises have been remade on more than one occasion. This week, the roles originally made famous by Farah Fawcett and her crew, then by Cameron Diaz and her ensemble, are back for more action in “Charlie’s Angels”. Also debuting this week is a highly anticipated animated hit featuring the voices of Will Smith and Tom Holland (of Spider-Man fame). There are a total of four new titles this week, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Charlie’s Angels: starring Kristen Stewart, Elizabeth Banks and Patrick Stewart- When a cutting edge sustainable energy source falls into the wrong hands, the company’s founder turns to the Angels to retrieve the goods before they can be turned into a weapon of mass destruction. Bombshell: starring Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie- Based on a TRUE STORY! When renowned news producer Gretchen Carlson slaps Fox News founder Roger Ailes with a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment, several other women come forward inciting a movement that reverberates around the world. John Henry: starring Terry Crews and Ludacris- A man with a checkered past is forced to revisit his old ways when two kids, on the run from his former gang leader, stumble into his life in need of help. (Thriller/Drama) (DVD)
