New Movies at Crossover Video & Games
Back in 1995, the late Robin Williams starred in the smash hit Jumanji which explored the premise of a board game that transported its players into a crazy and adventurous new world. In 2017, the franchise was reborn with Dwayne Johnson and a formidable new cast leading the way in a re-imagined telling of the popular original. This week, a sequel to the remake debuts as our headline new release. There are a total of four new titles, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Jumanji Next Level: starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black- As the players return to the game to rescue one of their own, they must deal with unfamiliar terrains and a whole new set of rules. Richard Jewell: starring Sam Rockwell, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde and Kathy Bates- Based on a TRUE STORY! After heroically saving potentially thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, a security guard finds himself under interrogation by the FBI as the potential bombing suspect. Black Christmas: starring Imogen Poots and Cary Elwes- During Christmas break, a group of sorority sisters find themselves stalked by a sinister killer. (Horror/Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge (Viewer Discretion is Advised)
Courier: starring Olga Kurylenko and Gary Oldman- After discovering that the package she was hired to deliver to a witness set to testify in court is a bomb, a motorcycle courier teams up with the witness in a battle to take down the ruthless crime boss that hired her. (Action) (DVD)
