Lakehead University to Postpone Spring Convocation Ceremonies
THUNDER BAY and ORILLIA, ON – Convocation is a special time where the Lakehead University community, family and friends come together to celebrate and share the accomplishments of our exceptional graduates.
Unfortunately, with the ongoing uncertainties related to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will not be possible to hold our Spring Convocation ceremonies originally planned to take place in May/June 2020. It is our hope that we will be able to reschedule Convocation ceremonies for sometime this Fall. Further details will be shared once available.
Lakehead University students eligible to graduate will still have their degrees conferred in spring 2020 following approval at the Lakehead University May 2020 Senate meeting.
