Back in 1990, a charismatic 22 year old actor took TV audiences by storm with his spunky arrival as the main character in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. Will Smith would go on to graduate from TV screens to theatre screens, becoming one of the most popular and bankable actors of this modern age. With roles in smash hits like Men In Black, Bad Boys, Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness, the 2 time Academy Award nominee is a household name if there ever was one. This week, he stars in our headline new release- Gemini Man. There are a total of six new titles, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Gemini Man: starring Will Smith and Clive Owen- A retiring assassin finds himself pursued by a mysterious killer that can predict his every move- younger clone of himself. (Action/Sci-Fi) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Maleficent Mistress of Evil: starring Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer- While celebrating Aurora’s upcoming wedding, Maleficent meets a conniving queen who hatches a devious plot to destroy the land’s fairies. (Family/Fantasy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Crown Vic: starring Thomas Jane and Luke Kleintank- With 2 cop killers on the loose in their city, a veteran officer and his rookie trainee embark on a night of patrol that turns out to be more daunting than either of them could have ever imagined. (Action/Crime) (DVD)
Code 8: starring Robbie Amell- In order to raise much needed money for his ailing mother’s medical treatments, a construction worker with super powers joins forces with a group of criminals. (Sci-Fi/Crime) (DVD)
Little Monsters: starring Lupita Nyong’o and Josh Gad- A washed-up musician teams up with a teacher and a kids television show host to protect young children from a sudden outbreak of zombies. (Comedy/Horror) (DVD)
Lighthouse: starring Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe-Two lighthouse keepers try to maintain their sanity while living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s. (Drama) (DVD)
