Nightmare Before Christmas (PG): [1993 – Animation, Family, Fantasy] Written by Tim Burton, this is the story of Jack Skellington, King of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion. (Including voices by Danny Elfman, Chris Sarandon, Catherine O’Hara, Wiliam Hickey, Paul Reubens and others)
Hocus Pocus (PG): [1993 – Comedy, Family, Fantasy] 300 years have passed since the Sanderson sisters were executed for practicing dark witchcraft. Returning to life thanks to a combination of a spell spoken before their demise and the accidental actions of Max, the new-kid-in-Salem, the sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) have but one night to secure their continuing existence.
Beetlejuice (PG): [1998 – Comedy, Fantasy] After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam (Alec Baldwin) Maitland are killed in a car crash, they find themselves trapped as ghosts in their farmhouse. Their peace is disrupted when another family, the Deetzs, buy their house. The Maitlands are too nice and harmless as ghosts and all their efforts to scare the Deetzs away were unsuccessful. They eventually turn to another ghost ‘Beetlejuice’ (Michael Keaton) for help and chaos ensues.
Nightmare on Elm Street (R): [1984 – Horror] On Elm Street, Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp) and a group of her friends (Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, and Johnny Depp) are being tormented in their dreams by clawed killer Freddy Krueger. Nancy must think quickly, as Freddy tries to pick them off one by one. Don’t fall asleep!
Friday the 13th (R): [1980 – Horror, Mystery, Thriller] A group of camp counselors are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer camp where, years before, was the site of a child’s drowning and a grisly double +murder.
