Greenstone OPP Seek Public Assistance in Locating Assault Suspects
GERALDTON, ON – On September 3, 2019 at 9:18pm, members of the Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Superior North Emergency Medical Service (SNEMS) received a report of an assault in the 500 block of Main Street in Geraldton, ON.
The victim was approached by three individuals and was assaulted with a metal object. The suspects then fled the area on foot. The victim was transported by ambulance to Geraldton District Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Greenstone OPP along with the assistance of the OPP North West Region Crime Unit and the Greenstone Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) continue to investigate this occurrence.
The suspects are described as:
- Male
- Approximately 20 years old
- Wearing all black clothing with hoods on
- One suspect was possibly carrying a flashlight and a crowbar.
