Trailers for This Week’s New Releases AND a Peek at What’s In-Store Next Week
Way back in 1954, we were introduced to a giant lizard type monster as he caused havoc in and around Japan. “Godzilla” caused quite a frenzy around the world becoming an instant success as people clamored to watch his path of destruction. Since then, there have been reboots and sequels- the most recent being this week’s headline new release. Sharing the screen with Godzilla this week is Elton John and a loveable cast of animated, talking animals. There are only three titles this week, but they are all significant and highly anticipated releases. Below is a brief synopsis of each;
Godzilla King of the Monsters: starring Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler and Ken Watanabe- A crypto-zoological agency faces off against a plethora of huge monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. Rocketman: starring Taron Egerton and Jamie Bell- Based on the shocking real-life stories of Elton John as he rises to superstar fame while battling a number of personal issues. (Drama/Music) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge
Secret Life of Pets 2: featuring the voices of Kevin Hart, Harrison Ford and Tiffany Haddish- Max the terrier encounters a whole slew of different characters as his newly expanded family takes a trip to the countryside.
