NEW Toys at Crossover Video & Games and This Week’s New Movies
Back in 2004, Ron Perlman (aka Clay from Sons of Anarchy) was cast to play the comic book figure Hellboy. Fans quickly grew to love the monstrous entity as he fought relentlessly against the forces of darkness. Four years later, a sequel was released with Perlman remaining in the starring role. The two films would go on to gross over 260 million dollars combined at the worldwide box office. This week, Hellboy is back with David Harbour now assuming the lead role. There are a total of six new titles this week, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Hellboy: starring David Harbour and Milla Jovovich- Hellboy is summoned to the England where he must face off against an ancient sorceress who threatens to end the world. (Action/Fantasy) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge
Alita Battle Angel: starring Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz and Jennifer Connelly- In the distant future, an unconscious cyborg is revived with no memory, and is forced to rediscover who she is while also fending off dangerous threats from her past. Missing Link: featuring the voices of Zach Galifianakis, Hugh Jackman and Zoe Saldana- Mr. Link hires a famed explorer in an effort to reconnect with his long lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. (Family/Animated) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge
Master Z IP Man Legacy: starring Max Zhang- After his defeat at the hands of Master IP, the mix of foreigners, money and triad finds Cheung Tin Chi is lured back into the fight. (Action/Martial Arts) (DVD)
Critters Attack: starring Tashiana Washington- A young girl must protect the kids she’s babysitting from an invasion of tiny carnivorous aliens. (Horror/Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Tall Tales: featuring the voices of Kate Mara and Justin Long- After arriving in a new kingdom, a small cricket is framed for kidnapping of the queen bee. (Kids/Animated) (DVD)
