Drug Warrant Executed in Longlac
GREENSTONE, ON – On July 22nd, 2019 officers from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Community Street Crime Unit and the North West Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a Longlac residence.
Police seized: 762 Oxycodone pills, 67 Methylphenidate pills, 1 Morphine pill, .2 grams of cocaine, drug trafficking material and Canadian Currency.
A male ]Edited by ONN] (72 years) of Longlac has been charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking X 2 contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance X 2 contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act
- Possession of Proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to Section 354(1) (a) of the Criminal Code.
The accused has been held in custody and will appear this morning in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay.
