Depuis le mois d’octobre, Matthew Schumacher, élève COOP à l’École secondaire Saint-Joseph, Wawa, offre des cours de piano gratuits aux élèves de la 1re, 2e et 3e année. Sous les directives de ce jeune pianiste accompli, les élèves ont appris à lire les notes et à jouer avec harmonie. Pour clôturer le semestre et mettre à l’honneur l’accomplissement de ses élèves, Matthew a organisé un récital de piano le mercredi 13 février. Parents et amis ont pu assister à ce récital où chaque élève jouait une chanson unique de son choix!
Since October, Matthew Schumacher, COOP student at École secondaire Saint-Joseph (Wawa) has been giving free private piano lessons to the students in grades 1 through 3. With the help of this talented pianist, students learned to read music and play lovely harmonies. To finish off the semester and show off the music skills acquired by the students, Matthew organized a piano recital which took place February 13. Parents and friends made their way to the school to watch as each student played a song of their choosing.
