TOYS in Time for Christmas at Crossover + This Week’s New Release Trailers & Julie Wilson Wins Draw
Whether it’s their impressive size, their teeth, or their dominating presence, people often find themselves mesmerized by sharks. They’ve been around since the prehistoric days and are currently represented by over 465 species. These impressive creatures are also fairly regularly featured in Hollywood movies- often terrorizing unsuspecting divers or beach-goers. Back in 1975, Jaws debuted in theatres to much fanfare, resulting in a number of sequels. This week, a new entry into the shark movie genre leads an impressive pack of new releases. Jason Statham fronts an ensemble cast in “The Meg”, our headline new release. There are a total of six new titles, with a brief synopsis of each below;

Mile 22: starring Mark Wahlberg, Ronda Rousey and John Malkovich- An elite top secret tactical team is tasked with the seemingly impossible duty of transporting a valuable target from the American Embassy in Southeast Asia to a remote airstrip 22 miles away. Final Score: starring Pierce Brosnan and Dave Bautista- When terrorists gain control of a packed soccer stadium, an ex-soldier is forced to utilize his full skill set in order to save the thousands of unsuspecting fans in the stands. Juliet Naked: starring Rose Byrne and Chris O’Dowd- A woman, stuck in a long term relationship, forms a romance with a once revered singer-songwriter- who also happens to be the musical obsession of her partner. (Comedy/Romance) (DVD)
Marine 6: starring Mike Mizanin- A pair of former marines join forces to rescue a kidnapped girl from a gang of international criminals. (Action) (DVD)
