Wawa Fans Can Still See Eaglesmith at One of His Other Northern Shows
Eaglesmith Ready to Rock the Back Roads of Rural Ontario
Fred Eaglesmith’s career playing music as a travelling, iconic, independent musician is, what you might call “Songwriting in Motion”. Things are always on the hotter side of busy for the road rocker, who is currently in Western Canada touring with his songwriter spouse, Tif Ginn. In the Fall of 2018, they are coming to perform live in Northern Ontario. Just in time for the fall colours of Thunder Bay and Algoma.
Eaglesmith is a veteran of the music industry from southern Ontario, and Tif Ginn is from southern Texas. Fred Eaglesmith has had a number of his original songs recorded by major artists, including Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson. But, his career is “about as far away from actually participating in today’s music industry as one could be. Never operating within anyone’s boundaries, he continues to set the standard for independent artists everywhere.”

“Eaglesmith snarled out lyrics that underscore his overriding attitude that music and musicians ought to be cherished in the here-and-now and valued for the quality of their art, not the size of their bank accounts or TV ratings.” – Los Angeles Times
