Join in to demo anything that floats and take a boat tour or kayak tour on Lake Superior!

GUIDED HIKE – 10:00am to 1:00pm
Lyda Bay Segment of the Casque Isles Trail! We will be celebrating Lake Superior Day by hiking across one of the favourite segments amongst our users, hiking on the Terrace Bay Nature Reserve.
Shuttle rides back to the start will be available from the Beach.
Starting at Hydro Road South, just west of Terrace Bay, we will hike for 6kms to Terrace Bay Beach and join in their Annual Lake Superior Day celebrations. Hiking from bay to bay, we will stop at an ancient Pukaskwa Pit, climb the ladder to the Lyda Bay Lookout, top for lunch at Lyda Bay and then make our way along the shore back to Terrace Bay Beach.
Proper footwear is required, with the minimum being a closed toe running shoe. There are some steep ascents / descents and we will cross boulder beaches on the Lake Superior shoreline. Bring enough water, high energy snacks and a light lunch. Bug dope and sunscreen are also required for protection from the elements.
