Greenstone OPP Recover Stolen Equipment
GREENSTONE, ON – On July 12, 2018, at approximately 4:30 pm, members of the Greenstone detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) responded to a report of a stolen Bobcat skid steer stolen from a work site in Quebec and believed to be in the Greenstone area.
Police subsequently located and stopped a tractor trailer unit on highway 11 in the Municipality of Greenstone and confirmed that it was hauling the reportedly stolen equipment along with two Kubota mini excavators.
At this time all three pieces of equipment are believed to be stolen property. The skid steer is worth approximately $61,000.00, while the two excavators are worth $45,000.00 and $20,000.00.
The investigation is ongoing.
