Crossover Video: Newly Released Movies, NEW Audio-Pet, Top Ten July Rentals AND Holiday Hours
Back in 1987, movie goers were treated to star studded comedy about a wealthy woman who suffers from amnesia after falling from her yacht. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell played the lead roles in “Overboard”, which would go on to become somewhat of a cult classic. Here we are, 31 years later, and a remake is now hitting our shelves. In the 2018 version, this week’s headline new release, the roles are reversed when a rich man suffers the same fate as a result of an unfortunate yachting accident. There are a total of four new titles this week, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Overboard: starring Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez- When a snobby millionaire suffers a case of amnesia after falling off of his yacht, a single mom swoops in to seize the opportunity. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)
Miracle Season: starring Helen Hunt and William Hurt- After the tragic death of their star player, a girls volleyball team must band together under the guidance of their tough-love coach in hopes of winning the state championship. (Drama) (DVD)
Tully: starring Charlize Theron- A busy mother of three is gifted a night nanny by her brother, and soon forms a unique relationship with the young lady. (Comedy/Drama) (DVD)
Kings: starring Halle Berry and Daniel Craig- The life of a foster family in South Central Los Angeles is thrown into chaos after the city erupts in violence as a result of the Rodney King trial. (Drama/Crime) (DVD)
