2018 ATV Jamboree a Success with Registration Maxed
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Saturday, July 21st the annual ATV Jamboree was held under overcast skies (more appealing to off-road drivers than the recent hot and sunny days the area has had). Once again the event sold out completely with the maximum 85 riders registered.
4 routes were available to the riders of which they had to complete any 3. Below is the Township of Manitouwadge sponsored route in red which was among the longer routes, and included some mud holes. Other sponsors of routes were Barrick, Manroc Developments and the NWMO.
Jamboree volunteer Emeraude Hunter, who provided the photos below, said this about participating as a checkpoint volunteer the past 3 years “I love the atmosphere! When people pull up to the check point they’re always eager to get on the next trail. Even those riders who reach check points after being stuck in the mud have smiles on their faces, their enthusiasm fuelled by the inclusion of trail options with a certain level of difficulty.”
