MATTAWA, ON – The “Hope in the Darkness” walk for Youth Mental Health initiated by Anishinabek Police Services Sergeant Kevin Redsky, has entered North East Region (NER).
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising motorists that there will be an increased pedestrian presence on the Highway 17 corridor through the NER starting in Mattawa, Ontario on Friday, June 15, 2018. The walk continues to White River until Thursday, July 5, 2018 concluding the NER leg of the initiative.
Please drive safely and always be cognizant of pedestrians who may be walking along our highways.
