MANITOUWADGE, ON – Weeks of preparation by students, staff and volunteers at Superior North Catholic District School Board’s (SNCDSB) Our Lady of Lourdes School (OLOL) culminated May 11th & 12th with 3 live performances of Annie Jr. at the Manitouwadge High School (SGDSB) auditorium. Every one of the schools 70+ students, from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8, had an important role to play including tech assistants (lights/music) and front of house hands in addition to plethora of on-stage roles.

Congratulations to Director Betty Gilman and all the OLOL students on having presented three incredible shows, each as impressive as the others. CAST INTRODUCTIONS
The play began with groups of cast members taking the stage as familiar Annie tracks played. This is a great way to begin a school show as it gives friends and family the opportunity to spot their favourite ‘stars’ in costume prior to the action unfolding. It also gave the students an opportunity to get some jitters out taking the stage alongside their peers before their is any need to remember lines or hit cues.
ACTION!
