8th Annual Share the Care Walk Announced
Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group (MCAG) is thrilled to announce our 8th Annual Share the Care Walk fundraiser. This town event will take place Saturday, May 12th, 2018 from 11am – 1pm. We invite everyone to come out and support this worthwhile event by walking, biking (ect.) the 5km route.
Participants are asked to begin by registering in the Recreation Center Lobby (a silver donation will also be collected) prior to going to the Geco Bridge and back. Volunteers will be happy to provide directions if you aren’t familiar with which direction to travel on Manitou Road to reach the Geco Bridge and water available at the halfway point.
This is a fundraiser and we would be thrilled if you would get sponsors for your walk (CLICK HERE for pledge sheet) or the MCAG is also very appreciative of the support of those simply making a donation when registering – every little bit helps.
From 11am to 1pm you are also invited to join us for the BBQ lunch prepared (at the Rec Centre) by our Manitouwadge Volunteer Fire Fighters as part of the fundraising efforts.
