MANITOUWADGE, ON – An ammonia leak at the Manitouwadge Recreation (community) Centre has led to the township closing the facility to the public and sharing that:
“For the safety of the public and our staff, [the community centre] will remain closed to everyone until further notice. We continue to work to resolve this as fast and as safely as we can. At this time we do not have an opening date.”
A previous facebook message had clarified that unfortunately the closure included the fitness room.
As the Township releases updates OntarioNewsNorth.com will publish them, the township has asked that the public not contact their office for updates.
