WAWA, ON – On Tuesday December 19, 2017 at approximately 11:15 pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Wawa) Detachment responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision located on Highway 17 approximately 45 kilometres south of Wawa in the Brimacombe Township District of Algoma.
The lone male driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are assisting with this investigation.
Highway 17 is open to all traffic.
