Former Teacher/Principal Charged in Relation to Historical Sexual Assaults
THUNDER BAY, ON – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Thunder Bay Crime Unit have laid charges against a former teacher / principal who was employed at a number of communities in North West Ontario. The charges date back to 1981 and 1982.
As a result of this investigation, Lothan ENDLER, 68 years of age, from Thunder Bay has been charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code:
- Indecent Assault on a Male contrary to section 156
- Indecent Assault on a Female contrary to section 149 x 2
- Assault contrary to section 244(a)
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on August 1, 2017 to answer to the charges.
