WAWA, ON – On Tuesday June 27, 2017 at approximately 6:00 pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Chapleau) Detachment responded to a Break and Enter incident to a Chapleau Ontario residence. The incident took place between June 21, 2017 and June 27, 2017. During the incident the persons responsible took a 42″ Sony Smart tv with a Xbox1 and various games, approximately $800 dollars in Canadian currencies, various types of jewelry (watches, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants), 10 bottles of homemade wine and various sports memorabilia (autographed hockey photos).
Investigation is continuing at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
