#CrossoverInsider : New Release Trailers, What’s NEW@Crossover & How to WIN!
The X-Men franchise over the years has become a fixture in the world of Hollywood. Based on the Marvel comics, the first X-Men movie debuted back in 2000. Countless sequels have followed including a few spinoffs featuring popular characters. One such character is Wolverine. Hugh Jackman, the affable Aussie actor, has portrayed Wolverine since day 1 in each of the X-Men movies including the Wolverine spinoffs. This week’s headline new release follows Hugh Jackman as a somewhat washed up version of his character tasked with the duty of transporting a mysterious girl to the border. Also of note this week is the release of the big budget Matt Damon adventure epic “The Great Wall” and the horror movie that had everyone talking. There are a total of four new releases this week with a brief synopsis of each below;

Logan: starring Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart- In the near future, while caring for Professor X, Logan is tasked with the duty of protecting a young mutant who is being pursued by dark forces. (Action/Sci-Fi) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
Great Wall: starring Matt Damon and Willem Dafoe- A group of European mercenaries team up with local warriors as they defend the Great Wall of China from hordes of monstrous creatures. (Action/Adventure) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
Get Out: starring Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams- A young African American man agrees to meet his new girlfriend’s parents at their country retreat, where he soon learns that something disturbing is happening. Save Yourself: starring Tristan Risk and Jessica Cameron- Five female filmmakers en route to screen their new horror film in Los Angeles, cross paths with a deranged scientist hellbent on using them for his twisted experiments. (Horror) (DVD)
