Independent Video Store Day is fast approaching! Saturday, October 15th is the big day! This annual event is celebrated to acknowledge the presence and importance of independent video stores around the globe. In today’s world of streaming and digital, many people assume that video stores are a “dying breed” or a “thing of the past”. This simply isn’t true and each year indy video store owners from Canada, USA, the UK, Australia and other countries, take a day to celebrate our continued existence and the importance that our stores serve to culture and community. It’s a chance to rediscover the magic of browsing shelves with the family while chatting with friendly staff or fellow customers about the latest and hottest movies. Crossover Video and Games will once again be participating! To mark the occasion, we are offering; free samples, 50% off used movies, coupons, 1.00 Gallery Rentals, prizes and more! We are also hoping to have special guests in store throughout the day! Update: It is looking like we may have a charity BBQ in the parking lot!
