Reading Club Fun Across Region and Olympic Spirit in Red Rock
RED ROCK, ON – The Red Rock Public Library (RRPL) is among the approximately 2000 public libraries across Canada responsible for delivering the national, bilingual TD Summer Reading Club program, led by Toronto Public Library in partnership with Library and Archives Canada. As the name suggests, the program is possible with sponsorship generously provided by TD Bank Group.
RRPL has been hosting TD Summer Reading Club program all summer with fun and unique events for participating kids. Photos above are from yesterday’s (Aug.11) event at the RRPL which invited kids to participate in their “Wild for the Olympics Sports Day” from 1-2pm.
The Red Rock Public Library is one of many libraries across our region (list below), which encouraged youth to visit and sign up. Joining the club is free and includes a club notebook, a chance to collect stickers, and participate in many fun events throughout the summer. In addition to programs being held at the libraries, kids could also visit the TD Reading Club website to track their reading, write reviews, tell jokes and more.
