Police Charge Wawa Man with Assault
WAWA, ON – On Saturday July 9, 2016 at approximately 1:38 pm members of the Superior East Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a Wawa residence regarding a disturbance.
At the scene officers interviewed several witnesses and determined that a female had been assaulted by a male.
As a result a 39 years old Wawa man was charged with the following offence;
- Adult- Assault Spousal contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.The accused was transported to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario for bail hearing.
