Marathon Structure Fire Investigated
MARATHON, ON – On June 12, 2016 at approximately 4:30 a.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marathon detachment received a report of a structure fire at Highway 17, Township of Marathon. Marathon Fire Department and police attended the fire at a vacant business east of Marathon. The building was destroyed by the fire.
Marathon officers with the assistance of the North West Region Crime Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
