OPP Searching For Missing Female At Sleeping Giant Provincial Park
THUNDER BAY, ON – On Thursday, May 19, 2016 at approximately, 10:20 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a report of missing female at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
Dawn FORS, 55 years of age, from Thunder Bay ventured out onto the Thunder Bay Lookout Trail at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park at approximately 9:30 am on May 19, and has not been seen since that time.
Officers from Thunder Bay OPP, OPP North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Marine Unit as well as a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Helicopter are searching for the missing female.
Dawn FORS is described as a Caucasian female, 167 cm (5ft 6in), 52 kg (115 lbs), brown shoulder length, straight hair, brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a black zip up shirt and a green ball cap.
