North Star Air Expanding Its Route Network

North Star Air announced yesterday that we connected Eabametoong First Nation (Fort Hope) to our growing route network that serves Northern Ontario First Nation communities. The new services will connect Thunder Bay, Fort Hope Neskantaga and Webequie. Currently there are daily flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and on Apr 19th, 2016 they will also offer daily flights on Tuesday and Thursday bringing it to a 6 days a week daily service.

This new route will offer people, businesses and communities more travel choices and more options at stable fares. Customers will now enjoy North Star Air’s focused excellence in providing the best possible customer experience. All flights will be flown on their Pilatus PC-12 aircraft which has gained a reputation for outstanding versatility, performance, reliability and operational flexibility. This aircraft is one of the most popular turbine-powered aircraft sold on the market today. Our modernized fleet also includes 3 Basler BT-67 Turbine to meet your needs for charters, passenger, cargo and fuel services.

Today, North Star Air’s Flex Flight passenger routes serve 18 destinations in Northern Ontario where 80% of those destinations are First Nation communities.
