MANITOUWADGE, ON– February 24th was National Pink Shirt day in celebration of the Anti-Bullying campaign. Manitouwadge Public School became a ‘sea of pink’ as our students and staff were honoured to show their support of this meaningful cause by donning their pink shirts for the day.
Bullying is a major problem in schools, workplaces and on the internet – but Manitouwadge Public School has adopted a zero tolerance for these actions and strives to offer our students direction and choices towards a more amicable environment for everyone. It was indeed moving to see so many young, impressive people take such an active role towards building a better future. Another job well done at MPS!
