Marathon Driver Charged with Possession of Marihuana
WAWA, ON – On Thursday February 4, 2016 members of the Superior East Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar patrols on Highway 17 in the Township of Vasiloff when they observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.
The driver was stopped for a traffic violation and as a result of this investigation police arrested and charged Michael Brandon VALLANCE (26) of Marathon, Ontario with the following offence;
- Adult Possession of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana under 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Vallance was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of March 7, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa Ontario.
