MANITOUWADGE, ON – Township of Manitouwadge Community Services Department has made some quick changes to their Frosty Days schedule this weekend due to severe weather forecast for the weekend. Having originally posted that the 2015 Citizen of the Year would be announced at an event at the Kiwissa Ski Centre Sunday there was a surprise presentation made last night instead.
Participants at Stick Curling yesterday evening (Feb.10,2016) were pleasantly surprised as Mayor Andy Major presented Gail Isaacs with a plaque as she was named 2015 Citizen of the Year.
The township shared details on their Facebook page today with this message “Congratulations to Gail and thank you for all you do and have done for the Community over the years!”.
