Back in the summer of 2010, the world followed closely, and nervously, the story of 33 men who became trapped underground at a copper-gold mine in Copiapo, Chile. With mining being such a prominent factor in the local economy, people across Northwestern Ontario took a particular interest in the developments. Now, the story is once again at the forefront of everyone’s attention- this time in the form of a movie. Antonio Banderas stars in “The 33”, the headline new release this week. Never one to shy away from a daring role, Johnny Depp takes on the lead role in this week’s other key title “Black Mass”. This true story follows the rise and fall of notorious gangster and long-time fugitive James “Whitey” Bulger. There are a total of seven new releases this week with a synopsis of each below;

Bone Tomahawk: starring Kurt Russell and Patrick Wilson- A group of men set out in the Wild West to rescue a group of captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers. (Western/Horror) (DVD)
