UPDATE: #Hwy17 Closed Between Wawa & White River
UPDATE from @511ONNorthwest – Official MTO info on road closures on highways for Northwestern Region.
Highway 17, 20 kms south of White River has been re-opened by Superior North OPP.

WAWA, ON – The Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently at the scene of a motor vehicle collision located on Highway 17 approximately 30 km East of White River Ontario.
OPP along with Emergency Services from the White River, Dubreuilville and Wawa area are currently assisting at the scene.
Highway 17 between Wawa and White River will remain closed until further notice.
OntarioNewsNorth.com will share when OPP advise of the highway being re-opened to traffic in both directions.
