Blueberry Road Closed For Bridge Repairs
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) advises that a portion of a primary forest resource road north of Longlac and east of Nakina, in Nipigon District, will be temporarily closed for bridge repairs.
A portion of Blueberry Road will be barricaded while repairs are underway and road access through the site will not be allowed. The southern juncture of Blueberry Road connects to the Trans-Canada Highway and the northern juncture connects to Rail Line Road.
The portion of the road to be closed is located at Tilia Creek, located 28 kilometres north of the Trans-Canada Highway juncture and 16 kilometres south of the Rail Line Road juncture.
While this portion of the road is closed, the public is directed to use Highway 584.
The exact date of the closure is not known at this time, but it will not occur earlier than October 19, 2015. The road is expected to be closed for approximately eight days.
