MMSPL Results July 7 & 8th + Tonight’s Schedule

MARATHON, ON – Tuesday (July 7th) evening, the Brewers beat the Hotdogs & Cupcakes 17-10. A couple of big homeruns by Neil Esarte and Carly Melchers made a nice play at home for last out. Tuesday’s 2nd game of the evening was uneventful as the Brokerlink team defeated the Jagerbombers in a forfeit 7-0.
Last night, (July 8th), in the early game, Outlaws beat Crossover Video Jays 13-12 in a tight fun played game! Beautiful hit by Lorelle Bertin over the fielders for a triple.
Crossover Video Jays beat Brokerlink 8-5 on a walk off 3 run homer by Tristan Vollett. Byron Lackey made a great catch in centerfield for Brokerlink .
Be sure to attend the games tonight as the league’s top ranked teams will certainly provide some very entertaining baseball as they face off against the 2nd and 3rd ranked teams respectively. At 6 pm the first place Brewers (tied for 1st w/Outlaws) will be facing 3rd ranked Cross Over Video Jays while the 7:30pm game will see the 2nd place Hotdogs & Cupcakes try to steal the top-rank from the Outlaws (tied for 1st w/Brewers).
