From the Editor: This is NOT the stolen vehicle however it IS a black 2013 Polaris Sportsman 850XP – the stolen vehicle is likely similar in appearance.
WAWA, ON – Sunday May 31, 2015, members of the Superior East Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a theft of an all terrain vehicle taken from a rest area located on Highway 17 in the Township of Menzies.
Police were advised that the theft took place between 10:00 am and 10:20 am on Sunday May 31, 2015. The all terrain vehicle was described as a black 2013 Polaris Sportsman 850 with Ontario licence plate 53YS9.
Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
