10th Annual 3-on-3 Beach Volleyball Tourney This Weekend – Registration Deadline TODAY

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Manitouwadge High School Athletic Association’s annual Beach Volleyball Tournament is celebrating a decade of fun on the beach and raising funds for the Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group with it’s 10th open tournament this Friday and Saturday, June 19th & 20th.

Deadline to register is today so if your Northshore team of 3 men and/or women has yet to register, please contact the High School at 807-826-3241 or Wayne Pittman at 807-229-7932. Cost is just $10/person [$30/team] and the Pool Play ensures each team is guaranteed 3 games! Of course there are great prizes up for grabs again this year.

The top 3 teams in each division qualify for playoffs. 1st place Pool winners will get a first round bye and a crossover format will be used as in past years.

Food concessions will be available on site offering BBQ hot dogs and refreshments. Spectators and cheerleaders are welcome to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy some great beach volleyball action beginning 5pm Friday and 9am Saturday.

Past years have welcomed many local and area teams and with ideal weather forecasted for this weekend (temps expected around 20^oC) participation numbers are expected to be high.
