Athletes should prepare for inclement weather tomorrow just to be on the safe side. Games begin in Marathon at 8:45 A.M. The host Marathon High School Falcons will entertain the feisty Manitouwadge High School Wolverines in Girls soccer followed by the same two schools in boys competition. Lake Superior High School (Terrace Bay/Schreiber) and Nipigon Red Rock District High School will also be fielding teams in the West qualifier. GCHS withdrew from the tournament for unspecified reasons.

In Wawa the host Vikings will vie to make the Finals when they host the Ourangs from ESODB, Hawks from HHS, cross-town Chevaliers, Trillium Coyotes and the Chapleau Raiders.

The top two teams from the East and West will advance to the NSSSAA Finals to be held in Wawa this year. Winners will advance to NWOSSAA- Girls take on the NorWOSSA winner out west, while the boys winner will host the NWOSSAA championship.
