War movies give viewers a chance to see firsthand what the brave men and women of the military face on a daily basis while in action. Their heroics allow us our freedom and they risk their lives to do so. Chris Kyle’s incredible true story as the most lethal sniper in American Military history is told in “American Sniper”, this week’s top new release. With its gripping marketing campaign, American Sniper has grossed a mind boggling 541 million dollars at the worldwide box office. It has also been one of the most requested movies by our customers – and now it finally hits the shelves.
There are a total of five new releases this week, with a brief description of each below;

American Sniper: starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller – The incredible true story of US Navy Seal Chris Kyle- a deadly sniper while deployed, and a father and husband struggling with the effects of the war while at home. Hot Tub Time Machine 2: starring Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Adam Scott – When Lou finds himself in trouble, Nick and Jacob fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past- however they inadvertently end up in the future! Spare Parts: starring George Lopez, Jamie Lee Curtis and Marisa Tomei – The inspirational True Story of four Hispanic High School students who, equipped with 800 dollars, some used car parts and a dream, form a robotics club to compete against the country’s reining robotics champions. (Drama) (DVD)
Strange Magic: An animated adaptation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion. (Family) (DVD)
REC 4: Television reporter Angela is rescued from the building and taken to an oil tanker to be examined. However, it is unknown whether it is her who is carrying the seed of the mysterious demonic virus. (Horror) (DVD)
