Can you hear it? The call of the Mockingjay? Hunger Games fans across the nation will surely rejoice when the call of the Mockingjay rings out this week marking its long awaited debut on DVD and Blu-Ray. With a special Friday (March 6th) release date, Mockingjay leads a week that features a total of seven new releases including the Academy Award nominated Foxcatcher – starring Steve Carell in a performance that earned him a Best Actor nomination.
Here is a synopsis of each of this week’s new titles;

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1: starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson – Available Friday, March 6th– After shattering the games, Katniss returns to District 13. Foxcatcher: starring Steve Carell and Channing Tatum – A former Olympic gold medal winning wrestler is recruited by an eccentric multi-millionaire to join his wrestling team. Captive: starring Ryan Reynolds and Rosario Dawson – A man steps briefly into a diner and comes out to find that his young daughter has vanished without a trace from the back of his truck. Years later, when detectives discover recent images of the girl online, the man risks everything to ensure his daughter’s safe return. Vice: starring Bruce Willis and Thomas Jane – Julian Michaels has designed the ultimate vacation destination- VICE- a place where customers can live out their fantasies with artificial robots who look, think and feel like humans. When one of the robots escapes and becomes dangerous, a detective takes up the mission of capturing the robot and shutting down VICE once and for all. (Sci-Fi/Action) (DVD)
Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast: Tinker bell and her friends become concerned when one of the fairies befriends a mysterious creature known as the Neverbeast. (Kids/Animated) (DVD) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
Princess Grace: starring Nicole Kidman – The story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly’s crisis of marriage and identity, during a political dispute between Monaco’s Prince Rainier III and France’s Charles De Gaulle, and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960s. (Drama) (DVD)
Black November: starring Kim Basinger, Anne Heche and Mickey Rourke – Based on a True Story- An oil-rich Nigerian community wages war against an oil corporation to protect their land from being destroyed. Rebels kidnap an American oil executive and demand that his corporation end the destruction. (Crime/Thriller) (DVD)
