Where did January go? It seems like just yesterday that we rang in the New Year, yet here we are already into month number two! February is an exciting time for movie lovers as Academy Awards season is among us, and a number of award nominated films debut on DVD and Blu-Ray. This month, watch for multiple award nominees like Birdman, Theory of Everything and Big Hero 6.

ACADEMY AWARD CONTEST
I dropped a preview in last week’s Crossover Insider and this week I can finally reveal the details of the Academy Award Contest- being held in conjunction with Movie Experts. It’s FREE to enter and participants have a chance to win FREE RENTALS for a year at Crossover Video and Games! All you have to do is predict who you think will win each Academy Award! Here’s how to play;

- Log in/Sign Up with a username and password of your choice
- Once you sign in, you’ll be taken to the “My Picks” screen. From there, click on “Teams” in the top right hand corner.
- A list of teams will come up on the screen. From this list, choose “Crossover Video and Games”.
- You’ll be asked to enter a password to join the team. The password is crossover Type the password and click “Join team”
- Once you’ve joined the team, a list will come up of the others who are on the team. From this screen click “My Picks”. Make all of your selections then click “Save Your Selection”.

LEGION FUNDRAISER
It has been well documented that, like many other small town Legions, the Marathon’s branch is fighting to stay afloat.
