MANITOUWADGE, ON – Physical activity is crucial during a child’s growing up years for good health in the present, and to promote an active lifestyle in the future. These are just 2 of the reasons Manitouwadge Public School (MPS) promotes activities in and out of the classroom, encouraging students to find physical activities they enjoy and can incorporate into their regular routines.
In the photos, Junior Kindergarten – Grade 1 students enjoy their slippery classroom – with the help of their teacher, parents and volunteers. Some students were able to go it alone but when that proved to be too much to handle, there came a helping hand from teachers, parents and volunteers to guide the skaters in the right direction!
Another great learning adventure at MPS!
