MANITOUWADGE, ON – Manitouwadge Public School students were excited to be taking part in the ‘Hour of Code’ recently. The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.
The Hour of Code challenge was held December 8-14 during Computer Science Education Week and their aim was to reach 100 million students by the end of the year. We are so excited to add our school to the map! Mrs Kingston was pleased to see so many of our students sign up to learn an hour of code and to commit to continue with it . Some students participated as a group, some decided to go it alone, some decided to become a peer leader.
Another example of students learning while having fun!
